About the Meriden Arts Council

The Meriden Arts Council works to promote interest in artistic and cultural expression for all. We believe the arts are essential to a vibrant and thriving community - a necessary part of Meriden’s present and future success.

The Meriden Arts Council is for people of all ages who wish to support and participate in arts and cultural events in our community.

Your membership and contribution will allow us to:

  • Publicize arts activities and events through the media
  • Maintain this website to serve as an arts clearinghouse for the community
  • Distribute a quarterly calendar of events
  • Publish a directory of Meriden Arts Groups and Artists
  • Meriden artists and arts groups cover a wide spectrum, including visual and literary arts, theatre, music, dance and crafts.
